The Fire Is Rising…and So Are We

We are living through something extraordinary right now. On an energetic level, you can probably feel it, even if you don't have words for it. There’s a quickening, a pressure, a sense that big change is in the air, that something new is landing, coming into being.

This Chinese Year of the Fire Horse, which began on February 17th, carries a frequency of powerful transformation that is capable of burning away what no longer serves us. It supports us in clearing the personal and inherited patterns that are keeping us stuck in old cycles and ways of being that we’re tired of, that we’ve outgrown, making way for our empowerment, our rebirth and showing up in the world as our true, embodied authentic selves; without shame, self-judgment, self-hatred and self-criticism but with an inner knowing that we are rising together as women, as a human collective and seeding a new world into being.

The structures, stories, survival patterns and ancestral wounds passed down through generations of women who were never given permission to be fully, freely themselves are asking to be transformed, and the invitation beyond all of the discomfort and endings which came with last year’s Chinese Year of the Snake, is ALIGNMENT. Alignment with yourself, with what’s true for you, with what’s in your soul - and alignment with the natural flow of the cosmos, alignment with the higher plan, the Divine plan, mysterious as it may be, an invitation to trust and allow.

I believe the only way to truly change an old world is to create a new one, a new paradigm. And the only way to create a new paradigm is to start living within it. ‘Be the change you wish to see in the world,’ Gandhi said. Here’s our opening to be just that.

The letting go is of everything we’re not, everything that no longer resonates or serves your highest good (and therefore the highest good of others) needs to fall away for something better to come through. Yet the letting go can be messy and hard, really hard. This is where Sekhem Rising comes in. With the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse, I experienced a profound shift, accompanied by the clarity that this offering needed to come into being through me - that I would be receiving transmissions from the Divine Feminine, Sekhem & Seichim frequencies in particular, to support my own and other women’s transformation, alignment with their soul and soul purpose and the empowerment energy to bring it into being. This is a gift from spirit to support us, as women, in reclaiming our sacred feminine gifts, our voices and our power to, ‘be the change’, to support the new age, the new paradigm, the new world coming into being.

The Divine Feminine is awakening us to a living, breathing, embodied frequency that wants to move through women and out into the world, through your voice and your gifts and your unique and irreplaceable presence here on this earth. For thousands of years, the feminine has been suppressed, in the world and within ourselves, and we absorbed that suppression into our bodies and our nervous systems and our beliefs about what we are allowed to be and to want and to have, until it became ancestral, cellular, and we simply accepted it as ‘the way it is’. Now, in this extraordinary window of time, we’re being called to clear it, and the reason runs so much deeper than our own personal healing, as profound as that is.

We are clearing it for the lineages behind us and the generations ahead of us, and for the rebalancing of a planet that has been running on a frequency of domination and disconnection for far too long. This is the deeper reason for your healing journey, the reason you keep being drawn back to it even when it is hard and even when you would rather stop. Some part of you knows that what you are clearing is bigger than your own story, that as you come home to yourself and reclaim your intuition, your voice, your power and your deep knowing, something shifts in the field around you that other women can feel, and that gives them permission to do the same. That is how the new world is built, through women becoming who they truly are, one by one, but not alone - in solidarity.

We do not need to wait for someone to show us the way, because as we step into a new frequency and walk it together, we feel together, heal together and rise together. This is a collective remembering, a return to our true selves, a coming home to what we know at the soul level; that we are more than we have been allowed to be, than our mothers and their mothers were allowed to be. We are allowed to be FREE to be ourselves and to contribute our unique gifts to this world unapologetically, unashamed, to be deeply feminine and to be all that the feminine brings, in all her aspects. Free.

The Sirian frequencies, the energy of the Ancient Egyptian Sirian Goddess, Sopdet, the cosmic energies of Sekhem, the fierce and compassionate fire of the Goddess Sekhmet and the soft enveloping love of Quan Yin, are all available to us now, in this body and on this earth and in this life. We are being showered with frequencies of light and support and activation during this extraordinary cosmic period, and if we feel called, what we are being asked to do is open ourselves to receive them and to clear whatever is standing in the way of that, to walk through the fire of transformation, to release what was never ours, to come home to ourselves and then bring that self, our true, authentic, embodied and empowered self, out into the world.

The New Age is not something that is coming from outside of us; it is something coming from within us, that we are be-coming. It is inside each one of us, waiting for us to awaken to it, to our own power, to our own true nature and to reclaim our feminine nature - wild and free in all aspects, and embodied in the way we live each moment, not only in the grand gestures but in the everyday moments, as it is these moments that make up our lives. Each moment that we allow ourselves to reclaim, embody and express the feminine within us, is a step towards the new world, the one I believe we’ll all be much happier living within.
